Bowling Etiquette
At Galaxy Bowling, we take your fun seriously. Your enjoyment of our sport is our business. Your help is greatly appreciated in making certain all of our guests have a great time. Hence, a few general rules of bowling etiquette:
1. Read and follow the posted rules of the bowling establishment.
2. No outside refreshments of any kind at Galaxy Bowling centers.
3. Wear only approved bowling shoes on the lanes.
4. Wait for the pins to be reset before bowling your next ball.
5. Be ready when its your turn.
6. If you find yourself approaching the runway simultaneously with bowlers on both sides, both of the others should be allowed to bowl before you do. Usually the person to the right has the right of way.
7. Observe the foul line. Do not go past the line at the beginning of the lane - this is called the foul line. An audible beep warns you that you have crossed this line. This is very important in league play and should be just as important in casual play.
8. Confine your activities to your own lane.
9. Do not throw the ball down the lane, roll the ball down the lane.
10. Do not use someone else's bowling ball without their permission.
11. Be a good neighbor. Feel free to show your enthusiasm, snack, drink or whatever you like, but use some discretion. Keep in mind that others may be there to bowl competitively and seriously.
